Single Ventricle Research Fund 2022 is Now Open!
May 4, 2022
We’re thrilled to announce that the third cycle of the Single Ventricle Research Fund (SVRF) is NOW OPEN! The SVRF is an annual research award program focused on accelerating research and improving care for those with single ventricle heart defects through multi-year, high impact grants.
This year, we’re hosting an open call for proposals with research relevant to single ventricle and aligned with any specific focus areas and areas of strategic investment represented in the Additional Ventures Research Roadmap including:
- Etiology and risk factors
- Tissue engineering
- Computational modeling
- Personalized medicine approaches
- Basic cardiovascular development
- Placental and maternal health
- Sequelae and mechanisms of outcomes
Eligible research teams may apply for up to $600,000 to fund three-year research projects.
Letters of Intent for the 2022 Single Ventricle Research Fund are due by August 5, 2022.
